Dr Mike ClaytonMike Clayton has been a project leader on a wide variety of business and voluntary sector projects.  His main expereience was as a Senior Manager with international professional services firm Deloitte.  There he was an early member of the Programme Leadership team, which undertook the advisory and leadership for the largest and most complex projects undertaken by Deloitte’s biggest clients.

Some of Mike’s clients while working for Deloitte we BAA plc, General Motors, British Gas, Vodafone, Prudential, The Post Office, and Transport for London.

Mike started developing his ideas about project leadership when he took over leadership of Deloitte’s consulting teams, working for BAA in 1997, but finally got the chance to hone his ideas and expose them to a wider audience when he started training project managers more widely, and coaching, speaking and giving seminars around the UK.

Mike offers his popularPractical Project Management seminar as an open event around England, several times each year, in collaboration with Bite Size, and talks about some of the key aspects of brilliant project leadership.  Since 2002, Mike has trained over 4,000 people in the fundamentals of project management and the essence of project leadership.

Brilliant Project Leader finally brings Mike’s clear vision of what it takes to move from Project Management to Project Leadership to a wider audience.
